Show Ready Program For Recreation The summer recreation program under the direction of Merlin S. Christensen, director of summer ac tivities is west Millard, is being organized. At the present five different dif-ferent baseball leagues will start the week after school is out. A meeting to organize a men's senior Softball league will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m., May 10, in Delta high school. The following night, Thursday, May 11, there will be a meeting at 8 p.m. to organize or-ganize junior league baseball. Girls' Softball league will be organized or-ganized at a meeting Monday, Many 15, at 8 p.m., also in the high school. PeeWee league baseball base-ball will be organized on Wednesday, Wednes-day, May 17 at 8 p.m. in the high school. Schedule for Saturday baseball league will be in the Chroncile next week. There will be at least 7 or S teams m tnis league ana n promises to be bigger and better then ever before. Seipio and Flow-ell Flow-ell are joining as new members. First practice for the Delta senior sen-ior league baseball team will be held Thursday, May 11, at 6 p.m. at the Delta ball park. Anyone in-trested in-trested in playing ball is urged to come out and get to work. Anyone interested in organizing any kind of activity for summer is urged to get in touch with Mr. Christensen at phone 334, who will be glad to help in organizing such activities. |
