Show Adult Education Classes Will Open Next Week Adult education classes are again being set up for Millard county. During the year it is planned plan-ned to have at least one class organized or-ganized in each community in the county, if enough interest is shown by the townspeople to warrant war-rant it. There is no charge for these ' courses, which are sponsored by the state department of public instruction in-struction and the Millard county school district. Classes in home improvement & decoration, taught by Mrs. Beth Anderson, will be set up to start next week. They will be held in the following communities at the time and place stated: j Delta, at Delta high school, Mon-1 day, Oct. 23 at 3:30 p.m. Also, on Monday night at 7:30 is a class or restricted enrollment for businessmen busin-essmen and women. Lynndyl, Wednesday, Oct. 25, at Lynndyl ward church, 1:30 p.m. Leamington, Wednesday, Oct. 25 at the schoolhouse, 3:30 p.m. Oak City, Wednesday, Oct. 25, at Oak City church, 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, Mrs. Anderson will hold a class at 4 p.m. in Hol-den Hol-den at the schoolhouse, and 7:30 p.m. of the same day she will be at the Fillmore high school. Abraham, Friday, Oct. 27 at 1:30 p. m. at the church house. South Tract, Friday, Oct. 27, at 3:30 p.m. Within the next few days letters will be mailed to all enrolless of past adult classes. They will contain con-tain a card to be checked for the courses desired this year. Anyone who does not receive a letter and would like any particular class taught in their community is invited in-vited so send name and course desired de-sired to the office of Supt. A. M. Maughan in Fillmore. |
