Show Hinckley News BIRDIE LOU HILTON Mr. and Mrs. George Stewart had twenty nine members of their family fam-ily here for Thanksgiving dinner. Besides the members of the family at home there were Mr. and Mrs. Dee Arthur and family from Cedar City, Mr. and Mrs. Bud W. Pate and family of American Fork, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Caldwell and fam ily of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Smith and family from Delta, Colo. Mr. and Mrs. Vance Abbott of Sug-arville Sug-arville and Joy Stewart who attends at-tends school at the BAC . Mr. and Mrs. Smith are remaining here for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. LaVon Morris and family spent Thursday night and Friday at the home of Mr .and Mrs. Harold R. Morris. Mrs. Allen Kellar went to Salt Lake last wek to see her brother, Oscar Loveland, who is ill. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Wilson spent Thanksgiving Day at Payson and Santaquin visiting with friends and relatives. Leonard Palmer and Monte and Marilyn went to Midvale Thursday to spent the doliday with Mr. and Mrs. M'illerberg. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Spendlove visited with Mrs. Spendlove's mother, mo-ther, Mrs. Mary L. Merrill, at Smith field over Thanksgiving. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Blake and son were home for Thanksgiving from Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hilton spent Thursday Friday and Saturday in Northern Utah where they visited with their daughters and their fam ilies. v Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bishop went to Salt Lake City over the Thanksgiving Thanks-giving holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Kellar recently recent-ly returned from California. Mrs. Joseph Morris recently spent a few days in Ogden, Utah. Lawrence Wright from Dixie College Col-lege and Lola Wright from the BYU were home Sor the Thanksgiving Thanks-giving holidays with there parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Wright. Mr. and Mrs. Garth Bishop and family spent Thanksgiving in Ogden Og-den with Mr. Bishop's sister. Mary and Johnny Moody from Dixie College and Byrant Moody spent the holidays in Hinckley. Joyce Theobald, Mrs. Edith Max- field and Mrs. Grace Ross of Provo spent Thanksgiving at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Theobald. Bishop and Mrs. Walter Ekins and family journeyed to Cedar City for the holidays and returned with a new car. Kay Bishop of Salt Lake spent a few days in Hinckley over the week end. Eva and Elsie Blake who are attending at-tending Snow College were home for Thanksgiving. Mr .and Mrs. Walter Manis spent the holidays visiting with friends and relatives in Hinckley. Amelia Jane Cahoon from the BYU was home for the holidays. Wilmer Woodbury who attends school at Cedar City spent Thanksgiving Thanks-giving at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Woodbury. Mr. and Mrs. George Puckett shopped in Salt Lake over the week end. Lafe Nielson and Roy Hilton went to Salt Lake on Tuesday. Golden Cluff, Sr. who has been visiting here with his son, is now in Salt Lake City . Mr. and Mrs. Jex Hyatt, Mr. and Mrs. Woolsey, Bernice and Thoja Hepworth spent Thanksgiving here with their parents. Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Allred had as holiday guests, Gordon and Kay Allred and their in'fant son, from Medford, Oregon, and Mona Allred from Provo. The Priests furnished the program pro-gram in Sacrament meeting Sunday Sun-day night. The music was given by the ward choir and a male quar tet consisting of Ronald Nielson, Duane Stewart, Garry Hardy, Daryl Cropper. Other members of the quo rum gave talks. Betty Hardy and her schoolmate Betty Yeumans , from Colorado were holiday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Hardy. The Gleaners and M-Men and Junior Gleaners and M-Men held a joint fireside chat at the home of Daryl Cropper Sunday evening after af-ter church. The evening was spent in viewing home movies and eating eat-ing home made ice cream and coo Kies. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Mecham and family went to Provo over the holidays to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Brooks Robinson and Ronald Mecham, Mec-ham, who is employed at the Ekins Rockwool Co. in Provo. Bill Davis who is employed in Arizona drove to Hinckley to spend the holidays with his family. Mr. and Mrs. Don Bishop went to Cedar City to spend Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing with Nell Corry and her family. fam-ily. Robert Wright entertained a group of young people at his home Frida"X evening with a deer supper. sup-per. Tlipse in attendance were Helen Hel-en Black, Sheldon Christensen, Cloyd'Theobald, Daryl Cropper, Col leen Bennett, Ruth McCullough and Robert Wright. Myrna Petersen spent the week end in Salt Lake City with her sisters. sis-ters. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Terry received receiv-ed word that their son, La Voy, who was wounded in action in Korea is recuperating rapidly and may be home for Christmas. His wounds are in his arm and leg. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Fullerton from Provo and Mrs. Hardy's sister from Boulder City, Nevada, spent several days with Mr. and Mrs. Willard Hardy. Argene and Buron Robinson from Salt Lake City spent the holidays at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Robinson in Hinckley. Mrs. Robinson Robin-son also had her son and his wife visit with her. |
