Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Sjostrom of Logan, visited in Oasis last week with their brother, Hinding Sios-trom, Sios-trom, and family. Alvin Bohn member of Delta city council, was taken to the LDS hospital Wednesday morning, and will remain there for medical treat ment. W J- Oppenheimer had two L visit her this past week. Miss Betsy Ann Riding, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Riding, arrived in Delta last week for a visit with her parents. With her are Goldie Darby, of Colombus, Ga and Josephine Garcia, of Los Angeles, Cal. The girls have been ilaying professional ball with the Chicago Cardinals, in national girl baseball league. After two weeks I h, Delta they will go -to Georgia, ' fi to visit Miss Darby's family, and ' en on to Miami, Fla., for the winter ball season. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Wheeler and family, Leonard Wheeler, drove to Burbank Saturday, and visited over ov-er Sunday with Chester Wheeler. Mr. and Mrs. Edsel Crafts spent the weekend in Salt Lake City, visiting vis-iting with friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Ladd Broderick, of Delta, Mrs. Betty Paxton, of Fillmore, Fill-more, and their mother, Mrs. Leonard Leo-nard Broderick, from Yuba dam, returned early Sunday from a trip to Baldwin Park, visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ray Anderson. Kenneth Schneider spent several days here last week, returning to Berkeley for college. He had been In Michigan and Idaho on a vacation vac-ation trip. |
