Show Iliblc School Continues At Conn. CIllJIM'Il The daily vacation Bible school at the Delta Community church will be continuing a week beyond the time originally scheduled, and will be conducted until Friday, July 29th. There will be no school on Monday, July 25 th, but all boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 15 are more than welcome to attend the days of Bible school that remain. The school features such things as Bible stories and lessons, Christian Christ-ian songs, games, handwork, memory mem-ory work, and other interesting things for the children. These activities ac-tivities will be carried on next week under the direction of Miss Maxine Parr, and Joseph Cooke, while Mr. Motchman, the other worker, goes to Richfield to help conduct a Bible school there. Miss Parr is a graduate of Multnomah school of the Bible in Portland, Oregon. She is a Utah girl, an excellent ex-cellent violinist, and experienced with children. Joe Cooke has just graduated from the Bible Institute of Los Angeles, where he was president pres-ident of the senior class. He both sings and plays the piano. On Friday night at the Community Commun-ity church an adult group meeting for Bible study under the direction of Albert Motchman, who has been in Christian work in Utah for a number of years. Sunday school for all ages will be held as usual at 10 a.m. at the l church, but there will be no morning morn-ing worship service. Instead there will be an evening meeting in which Franklin Elser will be speak ing for the last time before leaving leav-ing to continue his course of study at the San Francisco Theological Seminary. All people of the community are invited to be present at the above i meetings. |
