Show LEAMINGTON .. Mrs. Leonard Dutson Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Dutson over the week end were Mr. and Mrs. Kirt Tucker and four daughters, Rea, Margie, Kay and Patsy from Kaysville. Mrs. Tucker is a sister to Mrs. Dutson. After enjoying an auto ride a-round a-round through the surrounding towns, the children including Lu-ella Lu-ella Dutson, enjoyed a swim in the Delta pool. After returning home a lovely chicken supper was served by Mrs. Dutson for her guests and family. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Harder are enjoying their new. 1948 club coupe cou-pe car they just recently acquired. Mrs. Beckstrand from Meadow is here visiting her daughter, Mrs. Welby Finlinson and family. The speakers for Sunday night meeting were Ross Hilton and Melvin Peterson from Delta. Ross Mr., and Mrs. Ross Esplin and Mrs. Melvin Peterson sang a trio. Mrs. Esplin and Mrs. Peterson are the daughters of Mr. and Mrs. M. Ward Moody, of Delta. Mrs. Emma Nielson spent a very pleasant week in Salt Lake City visiting with her daughters and son, Shelby, and her grandchildren. She went to attend the wedding reception of her grandson, Merrill K. Davis of Salt Lake. The couple were married July 20 in an impressive im-pressive garden ceremony at Garden Gard-en Park, L. D. S. ward, i Mr. Davis is the son of the form-er form-er Barta Nielson and Leamington, and grandson of Mrs. Nielson While visiting in Salt Lake, Mrs. Nielson and son, Bishop and Mrs. Clead Nielson from Lynndyl, and three children of Kenneth and Ruth Nielson were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Nielson at a canyon can-yon outing up Big Cottonwood can yon in Salt Lake. After Bishop Nielson Niel-son and Shelby toured through the Alta mines, they joined the women and enjoyed a luncheon served by Mrs. Shelby Nielson. They also went to see Show Boat at the sta- dium. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Bennett and children drove from Tooele to visit over the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Will-liams Will-liams and to attend the Bennett reunion that was held in Fillmore last Monday. The Clever Cooks entertained their mothers at the 4-H club meeting last week. A very -nice luncheon was served, and a nice time enjoyed by all. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Williams from Manti visited in Leamington Sunday with friends and relatives. Lila Peters and Betty Jean White from Sloan Nevada, are visiting with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dell Bradfield. Betty Jean is the former Betty Jean Peters. Jack Barker is visiting here with his sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Bradfield. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Evans spent last Monday visiting in Spanish Fork with ther son, Lloyd and family. Little Larry Bradfield is back from Salt Lake and is feeling much better. Mrs. Fay Fielding had her brother broth-er and wife from Salt Lake City to spend the weekend with them. |
