Show &jj Perianal 9ntan.eli Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Thompson Thomp-son of Sandoint, Idaho, are announcing announ-cing the birth of a son Oct. 14, weighing 9 pounds and 10 uonces. The little boy is their first child, and the first grandchild of Mr. and Mrs. John Smith or Delta. Other Ruarclparents are Mr. a nd Mrs. Piatt Taylor of Wayne county. Mrs. Taylor has been visiting in Sand-point Sand-point for several weeks, and returned re-turned to Delta Monday. She will visit this week in Delta with her daughter, Mrs. Irvin Allred and Mr. Taylor will come here this weekend to drive her back to Wayne county. David Jacobs and Mr. and Mrs. David Jacobs, Jr., and their daughter, daugh-ter, Kim, of Torrance, California, arrived in Delta last week for a visit. While the men took in the deer hunt, Mrs. Jacobs and daughter daugh-ter are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Boothe. i, I Miss Norene Clothier from the U of U was home for the wekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Truman Tru-man Clothier. Home from the BYU for a weekend week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. Ward Moody, was Miss Elizabeth Eliza-beth Moody. Nels Black who has been working work-ing at Las Vegas, came home last Wednesday to remover from injuries in-juries received there. He was working work-ing on a "cat" on construction work, and last Tsesday slipped and fell from the machine, dislocating dis-locating his shoulder blade. Although Al-though the accident got him home for the deer season, what angers him is that he only got to cook for the hunters, as he couldn's shoulder a gun. Mr. and Mrs. Angus Myers have received word from their son, Elder Eld-er Elmo Myers, that he will sail for the United States Oct. 21, on his way home; He has been In Australia for the past 30 months on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was called from the Sixteenth ward in Salt Lake City. R. T. Patterson and his son, W. A. Patterson of Declo, Idaho, were Delta visitors Monday and Tuesday. Tues-day. Mr. Patterson farmed at Abraham Abra-ham twenty years ago, and spent Monday calling on old friends. |
