For Instance there will be demonstrated t a new machine for tho extraction of i gold, silver, platinum and other metals met-als from the black sands and rlvr washes, and from crushel ores. It is said that the black sands of tho Pa-! clflc coast alone contain enough gold and platinum to pay off thu national debt several times, but methods of recovery now In vogue do not successfully suc-cessfully release anywhere near the total precious content of tho sands.
