ParkliTs3n of this city died at his homo on, First '.Vest street Tuesday evening, after an Illness Ill-ness of moro than a year, and in tho 68th year of his ago. A little over ov-er ono year ago tho doctor suffered jnn attack of paralysis and hemorrhage hemorr-hage of tho brain. Ho went to California Cal-ifornia and spent tho winter returning return-ing In the spilng, but since that time has not been himself again. Tho death of Dr. Parkinson takes away tho last of- th real old timers In tho medical world In this community com-munity whoso namo has been, and still Is, a housohold word In every village ana hamlet In t his i alley. While termed un "old timer" ho was never old In his profession because ho was constantly In touch with tho latest and best In his profess! n and at regular Intervals went east to brush up, in the hospitals In the country. Ho Is tho last of those prominent prom-inent In medical Hfo that has grown up with tho county, worked for It and worked with It, a faithful servant ser-vant that has honored his profession set a good example to, his worthy family and associates and friends, and dies with tho good will of tho thousands In whoso homes ho Is lov-od lov-od and respected.. Dr. Parkinson was born In Bradford, Brad-ford, Yorkshire, England, April 4, 1852. His father was an architect and died while crossing the platnB In 18G2. His mother died when he was five years of ago and ho was ten years old when left an oinlvm Ills early lifo was ono of hardship.
