Show MEMORIAL DAY TO B E OBSERVED I N LOGAN THIS YEAR Memorial day May 31, will be' very fittingly observed in Logan. Never before have so many civic and other organisations cooperated so well to make the day a success. Tho city, Cache stake presidency, Chamber of Commerce, the American Ameri-can Legion, and the Service Star Legion Le-gion are all working together for the Memorial day exercises. At the meeting of the Entertainment Entertain-ment committee on Monday evening, the following sub committees were appointed: transportation, Harold Cederlund, Lawrence Bailey and M.I C. Poulter. Program: W. O. Darloy, A. Atkinson and O. A. Oarff. Tho committee on transportation will .arrange for trucks with comfortable com-fortable seats to leave tho tabernacle taberna-cle square at certain periods for the cemetery. All thoso over 'sixty years of age will be given free trans portatlon to and from the cemetery on Memorial day. Alt war mothers who havo no means of transportation transporta-tion will also bo given freo transportation trans-portation to and from tho cemetery. Thooso over sixty years of age and the war mothers who have no conveyance, con-veyance, should call at a central place to be designatea later, uu secure their passes for the transportation. transpor-tation. Watch for later announce ments. The program committee will arrange ar-range for community singing, with Chorister S. B. Mltton in charge, a buglor and other features. Mayor Wm. Howell will act as tho chairman chair-man of tho meeting and Mr. C. Z. Harris, president of the Richmond Chamber of Commerco, will give the oration. The American Legion will be well represented and see r that- tbergraves. of our- local heroes are properly decorated. Tho Service Ser-vice Star Legion will assist In this respect. During the meeting Mayor Howell will present memorial certificates certi-ficates to the nearest relatives of our heroes. These certificates are furnished by tho National American Legion'. The local American and Service Star Legions may also feature fea-ture a pageant and other things for the services. Commissioner John A.
