Washington, July 27. Plans for tactical reorganization of tho army aro not advanced to tho point where any immediato chango In tho lzo or formation of divisions now In this country Is contemplated. It watfstat-od watfstat-od officially today that tho divisions of tho regulars, national guards and national army would movo to tholr camps In tho formation of tho present pres-ent "typical" infantry division proscribed pro-scribed by law, but which tho President Presi-dent 13 authorized to vary as ho sees fit. Presumably a reorganization of General Pershing's forces In harmony har-mony with tho smaller division plan now In voguo In European armies has already boon effected. Tho exact nature of tho chango, of courso, has not been disclosed. A typical infantry division of tho American army makes a total forco of about 28,000 men. Tho French uso about 16,000 men to a division and tho Germans about tho namo, and In trench fighting tho unit of organization appears to bo tho corps rathor than tho division.
