Tho department of agriculture's July crop report forecasts a production produc-tion of G,093,000,000 bushels of principal food crops. This year's crop of corn, It Is estimated, esti-mated, may equal tho bumper yield of 1912. A total production of 3,124,000,000 bushels Is forecast, which Is an lncrenso of 541,000,000 bushels over laBt year. Tho totnl acreago Is 14 per cent larger than last year, amounting to 121,045,000 acre3. Tho combined winter and spring wheat crops are estimated to bo 38,-000,000 38,-000,000 bushels moro than last year's with a total of 678,000,000 bushols. Tho parley promise is at tho high flguro of 214,000,000 bushels, which exceeds last year's production by 33,-000,000 33,-000,000 bushels. Oats promise to exceed last year's crop by 201,000,000 bushels, the total to-tal production being forecast at 1,153,000,000 bushels, which Is a record. Tho production of whlto potatoes will create another record, tho ncro- ago this year being 22 per cent greater than last year's, there being forecasted a yield of 452,000,000 bushels, or 107,000,000 moro than last year. These figures do not take Into account the homo gardou production, pro-duction, which this year Is much larger than ever before. Ryo Is another record crop this yoar and will amount to 50,100,000 bushels, or 8,700,000 bushels more than last year. Sweet potatoes will register a now high total with 82,200,000 bushels, or 11,000,000 bushels moaro than last year. Tho production of tobacco will break another record, with a crop of 1,215,000,000 pounds, which compares com-pares with 1,151,000,000 pounds dur ing last year and 984,000,000 pounds, the averago of 1911-1915.
