OCR Text	Show 17 KILLED. 40 HURT IN COLLISION OF CARS North Branford. Conn., Aug. 13. Seventeen persons were killed nnd upwards of two score Injured, somo probably fatally, when two trolley cars on tho Shore Lino Electric railway rail-way met head-on at high speed, a short distance from tho local station, j late today. Both cars were well filled with passengers and most of tho dead were women. Tho Injured were rushed to New Haven hospitals. Most of tho persons per-sons killed lived In Guilford, Madison, Madi-son, Saybrook and nearby towns.
