Ball, directors at tho Utah Agricul tural College, returned this week from Calgary, Canada. The two were dolegatos from Utah to tho International Interna-tional Irrigation Congress held last month at Calgary. Dr. Harris, who Is director ot the agricultural engineering dopartment of the U. A. C, declares that the congress was declared to be ono of the best ever held. Scientists and leading authorities on agricultural (questions who were, present at the congress all spoke highly ot Utah. Dr. Harris avers that tho Utah Agricultural Agri-cultural College Is hold In high cs teem throughout tho cast and middle west. Dr. Ball, director of tho Utah Experimental Ex-perimental station, visited many of tho stations between here and Calgary. Cal-gary. Ho says that strenuous work Is being dono at all stations along tho various linos ot ugrlculturo and thnt the fight to extinguish diseases among crops Is being vigorously fought throughout tho entire country, oen moro so than over before. |
