Benediction John Perkins In answer to the statement froin Richmond pertaining to the proposition proposi-tion of refereelng the game between our High school basketball team and Richmond High school team, let us state that the officers Bhould be commented com-mented upon their refereelng being handicapped by the lights being half out. Under the conditions Richmond should be complimenting instead of criticising. Our city received a black eyo on Tuesday by having the officers of tho law from Logan In connection with our marshal, make a raid upon our drug store to look for that hidden fire water and they certainly got It a buggy load. A party of our fishers went up by Paradise Saturday to fish Sunday and they retruned with good catches. Tho relatives and friends of Mrs. Carrlo Milton celebrated her 70th anniversary an-niversary Tuesday. All present en-Joyed en-Joyed themselves very much. Tho Adams Stock Company presen ted two plays In our opera house on I Monday and Tuesday evenings. I An elaborate banquet was held on. I February 15 at the home of Mr. and I Mrs. D. L. Walters In honor of Mr. I Walter's 71st birthday, The table I were adorned With a profusion of car- J nations and ferns. The evening wae. 1 made pleasant by a nicely arranged, program In which Mr. Walters enter-tained enter-tained his children and friends wltht selections on his violin.
