Show GRUESOMFFiNT BY SECTION MAN Ogden, Feb. 16. The mutilated body of a man, whose Identity as Walter Gevskl Is made known by a card In his clothes was found on tho Union Pacific track this morning two miles west of Uinta. The body -had been cut to pieces and was picked up bit by bit from a stretch of ground covering about 75 feet. It is supposed sup-posed tho man had been riding on a freight train and had succumbed to the cold and fallen under the wheels. Tho pieces of the body when picked up were frozen solid and stiff. j The card found on the person or ' the dead man, in addition to giving: his name, requested that In case ot accident Stanley Mlchollvlcx of Whitney, Whit-ney, Indiana, be notified. Word has been sent to the address given. The gruesome find was mado by Section Foreman T. Kato at 7:50. He telephoned to officials In tho city and brought the body to Thirtieth street where It was taken in charge by a local undertaker. Tho body will bo held pending an effort at further and moro complete Identification. |
