Show Mr.Jenkins' , Resignation Is Accepted At a mcctlng'of tho board of directors direc-tors 'of tho City Drug Co., hold on Monday, March 30, Mr. Chas. Jenkins Jen-kins resigned as a member of that board, ho having accepted a missionary mission-ary call to Great Britain, tho board was reluctant to accept Charles' resignation res-ignation at this time, and only did so with the understanding that such action would be but temporary on their part, as their business relations rela-tions with Mr. Jenkins had, always been of a pleasant and harmonious nature, and to further show their appreciation ap-preciation of his servicei and lb a small token of esteem from his fellow fel-low members of the board and stockholders stock-holders of tho City Drug Co. Mr. Jenkins was presented with a check for a substantial sum with heartiest wishes for a successful mission and a safe, return to his native land. , Mr. A. H. Thompson was elected to succeed Mr. JenklnB on the board. |
