Show BAND SERENADE IN LOGAN CANYON IN HONOR OF 60V. SPRY Splendid Turnout of over 200 people. Speeches by His Excellency and by Hon. F. K. Neboker. Long Procession Proces-sion of Automobiles. Probably two hundred and fifty citizens wero amoug the number who participated in the terenado at tho Governor's camp In l.ogau canyon on Wednesday evening. It was n delightful de-lightful evening and "the trip was mado without accident., Tho full band' went to tho Harms camping grounds and did Its shar0 to mako the affair a moat pleasant one. Red tiro was burned In the distant cliffs which II-lumlnatcd II-lumlnatcd the hills for a mile around. The weather was Ideal for tho outing. out-ing. Thero was a full moon. The' trip both going and coming was delightful. At tho catu,p, Dr. S. B. Thatcher was master of ceremonies. Ho welcomed wel-comed tho guests and then Introduced Introduc-ed Governor William Spry 'who proceeded pro-ceeded to praise the Logan band for Its excellent music. He also praised prais-ed the Logan club for its activities In tlio community aod had much to say about tho grandeur of tho canyon. can-yon. "Why," said the governor, "It Is worth a great deul to tako a trip Into this canyon " I might say as John A. Hendrlckson says about his Koffe-et, "It builds 3011 up." Tho band played several popular airs and the merry crowd enjoyed tho music to tho limit, showing (heir full appreciation by either dancing the late dances on the open green or by long applause. Thero were perhaps per-haps a score and ten automobi!c3 en the procession back, with neatly a dozen vehicles. Among those who wero observed at the camp, In addition to tho band members were T.
