Show Cache Stake Conference Apostle Whitney fiave Forceful Talk Sunday, A fternp&i in the Tabernacle -The VafibusS&ionsWere Largely Large-ly Attended. The various sessions of tho Cache Stake quarterly conference on Sunday were largerly attended. Elder Benjamin Benjam-in Qoddard and Apostle O. F.' 'Whit ney were the principle speakers. At the afternoon session the tabernacle was filled to overflowing. Following a brief discourse' by Elder Ooddard, the sustaining of the general authorities authori-ties and the singing of a beautiful an-them an-them by the choir, Apostle Whitney t gave one of his characteristic, able talks. In the course of his remarks he touched upon nearly every important happening in early church history, In dealing with the subject "Tho Word -if i of God or tho Word of Man, which Shall Stand?" He said that many discord dis-cord tho miraculous and apply what Is sometimes called higher criticism. He told a story Illustrating the fact that children can understand the bible in its present wording If Its contents are read to them. God does not make flies like men build houses, he continued.
