Show Eight Thousand Men For Russia WASHINGTON, May 23. In splto I of the League ot Nations and the I completion ot the terms ot peace at I Versailles, tho War department has I announced that It will recruit an ad- I dlttonal army-of 8,000 men and send I them to Siberia to continue to fight I tho bolsheviks. Tho statement reads: 1 "Notification has been sent to all I recruiting ofllcors and commanding I oOlcers at camps, postsand stations 1 at which recruiting is authorized I .that it Is desired to enlist Immediate- I ly about 8,000 men for service in SI- ' I bcrla. They aro authorized to enlist I men for tho service under tho fot- I lowing conditions: White mon on- I ly will be enlisted for this purpose. $ Enlistments or re-enllstmonts will JlL bo for a period of three years.
