DOING ITS PART TO CONSERVE FOOD c Declaring that tho colleges1 and universities of the United Stajtes have met the appeal of the, .Food Administration Adminis-tration for help In production and conservation work cordially, Herbert Hoover, National Food Administrator has Just written to President. E. Q. Peterson, of the Utah Agricultural College, expressing his special, gratitude grati-tude to that institution for the fine work it has done. According to President Peterson, the college is in an even better position to aid durlnu the coming season than during the past and an especial effort will bo made to carry the great war fatess-age fatess-age of greater crops, more animals, and more careful conservation of food to the peoplo in the mo8t effective ef-fective way. "Several thousand 'people 'peo-ple of Utah have been or will ' be mot with a personal appeal through our Farmers' Round-Ups and Housekeepers' House-keepers' Conferences," declared '"Mr. Peterson.
