Jen-son, Jen-son, of' Pelersboro' Installed a' Dolco System In his1 home" which Is situated close to the Interurhan Tlght-of-Why that traverses that locality. Mr.jJocsen was so onthuslnsitc over ov-er the efficiency of this plant so ho Informs us, that ho had the Adams & Gehtwr Sales Co., Delco light dealers, deal-ers, here, Install additional wiring In all of hfs barns and outbuildings In order to have light and power In these buildings as well as in his home. I , One light of large size he had placed In his yard close to tho railroad rail-road tracks upon a polo about twenty twen-ty five feet from the ground In order,, or-der,, to light up his yard at night and which can be noticed byanyono pass-' ing on the Interurban. ' Sh'ortly after the. Installation of the wiring of his barns Mr. Jonson gave a harvest home dance and party i for about fifty couples which lasted .until the small hours of the morning morn-ing and during which all the lights were left burning-.- A few days ago Mr. Jonson happened to meet the motorman of the freight train which goes south from Logan at night. Wd will not mention 'this man's name, as M. Jenson will not give, us the desired information. It. seems that this man in question was .on his regular run that' night' and after jeavlng Mendon they reached the Petersboro switch, when th'e motor-man motor-man noticed the' head light of an 'approaching 'ap-proaching train coming towards them The motor man Immediately drew his trafn into the Petersboro switch and started saying things not printable print-able about .someone that had blundered blun-dered la dispatching orders and thanked Providence that they were able to avoid an accident. The train crew of the freight calmly waited fqr the oncoming train to arrive, but after af-ter waiting for several minutes and watching the light which did not approach ap-proach any closer they camo to, the conclusion that the train was standing stand-ing still, so they backed out on to the main line and started1 forward cautiously to Investigate. Upon arriving at Mr. Jenson's they Immediately saw where the light came from, which happened to be the light on the aforementioned pole and the whole train crew agreed that the Joke was on them and also that Delco Light must be some system sys-tem as it gave the best light they ever saw. , f, . We compliment Mr,, Jenson on equipping his ranch with this system In order to Increase, (he efficiency of his place as the advantages and satisfaction' sat-isfaction' enjoyed' from the' use Jot these Delco plants can hardly be estimated es-timated and should be investigated by, every farmer as we understand that the dealers offer terms, etc. |
