Show CATTLE MEN MUST BUY BONDS - OR FORFEIT RIGHTS ON RANGE The cattle men of Cache valley, who enjoy tho benefit of perlmts to range their cattle on the Cache National Na-tional Forest, and who have never yet taken their reasonable sharo of Liberty bonds wore warned the first of the week "to get In out of tho wet." ' ' The chief forester at Washington, D, C, has Just communicated the information in-formation that preference to ranging rang-ing privileges on national forests will be given to persons who are supporting support-ing their government by taking their Just proportion of Liberty bonds and other war subscriptions. 4 It is evident that there aro some cattle men in Cache county who have greatly benefitted by their permits to rango cattle on the Cache National Nation-al Forest, but who think they are going to cover up their unpatriotic small dispositions which have existed exist-ed from tho vory beginning of the war, as shown by their records, by purchasing from fifty to five hundred hun-dred dollars In bonds when they shouli take from one thousand to flvu thousand dollars worth. These men must be handled. And it la up to the city and the County Councils of Detense to see to It that they are properly reported to tho Forestry Department De-partment and to have them excluded exclud-ed from th uses and benefits of the government domain. Persons who refuse to support .their government in Umo of need must not be given direct beneflti of its privileges. V |
