These are good and secure Investments' Invest-ments' Which will ultimately be repaid the United States! The total loans- to our Allies to date aggregato practically practi-cally $J5,000,000,000. Nor Is the $22-OOO.O'OO $22-OOO.O'OO used to purchase Fnvm I.onn Bonds included, another investment rather thnn an oxpense. The' total disbursements of the Treasury from July 1 last, to March 16, Vero $U274,G75,000. this sum Includes the ordinary actual disbursements which comprise tho csual civil expenses of the Government Govern-ment and the cost of the war as above set out, tho amount loaned to our Allies, and bonds, notes and certificates cer-tificates of Indebtedness retired.
