Show FUNERAL HELD FOR . JOHNJ.BROBERG The funeral of John J. Broberg was held at the Seventh ward chapel Monday, April 8. The "deceased was a native of Sweden, coining here In 1890 from Jonkoplng, Sweden, where he was well known. The 'services were well attended "and the speakers referred re-ferred to the sterling character ot Brother Broberg as a neighbor and member of the church. He died a steadfast and true Latter-Day Saint, with a strong testimony of the truthfulness truth-fulness of the gospel and ot the Prophet Pro-phet Joseph Smith, which he at all opportunities declared. Brother Broberg is survived by two sons: E. J. Broberg ot Salt Lake; John C. Broberg, Logan, and three daughters, Mrs. John H. Rosengren, Logan; Mrs. S. L. Olund, Park City, Utah, and Mrs. Carl Peterson, Logan, besides thirty-one grandchildren. The deceased was born December 23, 1830; died April 6, 1918; was 87 years and 3 months of age. The speakers at tho services were N. P. Nlelson, Sr., Jacob Miller, A. O. Lundstrom H. K. Merrill, Bishop Watklns." The grave was dedicated by Bishop C, O. Dunn. |
