Show OLD FOLKS REUNION HELD AT PARADISE Paradise, Jan. 14. It has been n long time since our town has been heard from, Winter is hero with 'its snow nnd cold winds. The lienlttr of the people is very good for this time of tho year. There has been .a few cases of scarlet fever fe-ver In our town but all are getting along nicely now. Tho old folks reunion was held last Friday. There was' a large crowd out. Dinner -wag. served nt 12:30 with tho band playing several selections. A nice program was rendered In tho afternoon with a dance In the ovenlnc. There wern' several of the old faces missed. Tho out of town visitors were, Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas of Logan; Mr. nnd Mrs. Andreas Williams of Brig-ham Brig-ham City; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lowo or Wlllard; Mrs. A. A. Lemons ot Wlllard, all old residents of Paradise. Para-dise. The town is looking very bright now that it has the electric lights. Mrs. Myrtle Hatch Is the guest ot her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Welch. Bister Minnie Shaw Is reported to be getting along very nicely after a severe sickness. She is still in the Logan hospital. |
