Show ' First On the Roll of Honor I The sad news of the first casualty in the ranks of the Cache County boys has reached us, and the county pauses to pay a tribubte of respect to the memory of its faithful son and loyal soldier, John Hodges Weston. Enroute.to France this gallant defender of his country succumbed to the destroyer on the high seas, and today sleeps in a watery grave. He died for his country, in the service, and made the highest sacrifice for the cause of the war. All honor to his memory. His name will ever be a heritage of which his parents will be proud. In the full strength of his young manhood,' he answered his country's, call, and has placed his name alongside the immortals. He died on the field of battle, serving his country well, paying the debt of loyal devotion asfully as though he had fallen in a gallant charge to the ' cannon's belching mouth.
