Show FINAL CONTESTS OF THE CACHE STAKE M.I.A. The final contests of the Cache Stake Mutuals will be held Saturday April 27. The scout contests will bo held on the Tabernacle square at 4 p. m. and tho public speaking in the Tabernacle at 8 p. m. The events In the scout contest and rules to be observed ob-served are as follows: 1. Where wards are contesting It Is understood all participants of the team must belong to the troop contesting. con-testing. - 2. Higher scout officials to be consulted on final judgmenas. 3. Prlnelple of scout work to be manifest. 4. Boys participating to between 12 and 18 inclusive. 5. In case of a tie the contest will be decided by lot. 6. The troop shall be considered the unit. Event Wall Scaling Team composed of twelve men. Wall ten feet high and twelve feet wide. Teams to contest In succession. "Teams to run twenty-five yards. Ordor of running: Cache, Oneida, Benson and Hyrum. First Aid Demonstration Bandaging Band-aging of upper limbs, Cache; bandaging bandag-ing of lower limbs, Oneida; rescue work, Benson; first aid to animals, Hyrum. , Tower Building Twelve boys to a team; two to act as guides to prevent accidents, but not to assist. Teams to run 25- yards, build the tower, and return to the starting point. Formation; Four, Three, 'Two and onev Each team lsallowei the privilege of' building a'otower wth boys kneeing" or standng; "Top boy Loslgnal the letter "A"- on securing top position. (Int. Morse). ' Sgnalling International Morse Code will be used. Eight men on a team. A message of twelve words will be sent and an answer or the same length will be returned. The four teams acting simultaneously. Speed and accuracy will determine the contest: Message upon receipt will be delivered to the Judge, who gives the answer to be returned. Two per cent will be deducted for each word mlssent. For speed first team will receive 50 per cent; second 45 per cent; third, 40 per cent; fourth, 35 per cent. Fireman's Race Shuttle Relay. Twelve men on a team, 25 yards to run. Judged on time only. Supervisors Supervis-ors will aim to see' that the boy being be-ing carried is perfectly limp and does not give assistance. Shuttle Race TweWe men on a team. Will run 50 yards. Three Legged Race Boys to run 25 yards around post and return. Legs to be tied at ankle and just tie-low tie-low knee. Ties will be furnished by each team. Twelve men on each team. Fire Without Matches Two boys on a team, To be judged on time consumed. Firewood to be furnished unlformally to all the teams just before be-fore the event Is called. Teams will not; use a commercial fire block. Tho fire must be a permanent blaze. The final Inter State Contest will be held In Hyrum on May 4 In this each stake will enter only one team in each event. Signalling International Morse In the evening there will be an oratorical contest. The winner In this contest will meet the four stake meet In Hyrum next Saturday. Fol lowing are the contestants: Ehner Smith, folnth Ward, subject: sub-ject: Liberty and Progress. , Archie Darney, Fifth Ward, subject: sub-ject: America And The Great War.
