Show Grand Jury on Fraok Hanging Georgia Judge Emphasizes Point That Jurors Are Not Detectives Marietta, Ga., Sept. 1. The Cobb county grand Jury drawn for the July court term was charged today by Judge H. J. Patterson to Investigate the recent lynching in this county, and tho closo of tho day several witnesses wit-nesses had been examined for information infor-mation they might hnvo on tho hanging hang-ing of Leo M. Frank. Indications were that tho Jurors could conclude tho examination of the thirty-five or moro witnesses called in tlmo to ro-port ro-port tomorrow. Judgo Patterson was emphatic on threo points in his charge: That tho crime should bo thoroughly thorough-ly investigated. That this was not a. special grand jury as had been reported. That tho Jurors wcro not secret service men compelled to do detective detec-tive work to perform their duties. Among tho witnesses summoned aro O. II.
