Show OLD FOLKS REUNION AT PARADISE Paradise, Fob. 12. Tho old folks of our ward held their annual reunion re-union February 4. A dollclous dinner din-ner wus served nt 12 o'clock which was onjood by nil. After tho dinner din-ner was cleared nway there was a good program rendered consisting of music and speeches. Dancing was also Indulged in. To tho surprise of all the old folks tho Hyrum sliver band camo up ami played sevoral selections, se-lections, ufter which they wero Invited In-vited In anil were treated to a good dinner. The band members aro to bo complimented on their good mu sic, and wo hopo they will surprlso us leal often by giving us such a treat. About 4 o'clock lunch was passed around and tho peoplo went homo and returned again at 8 o'tlock and Mulshed tho party with a good old married peoplu's danco ut night. Thoro wore some visitors from Hyrum Hy-rum who attended tlio O.d Folks ro-union. ro-union. Mr. Harry Williams who was operated op-erated on sonio time ago for appendicitis appen-dicitis Is slowly recovering. Mr. Oliver Walsh and Samuel j Obray from Salt Lake City, aro In Parndlso for a few days visiting friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. 11. A. Shaw have gone up to Richmond to spend a few days with Mrs. Shaw's Bister, Mrs. F. H. Whittle. Mrs. IlutU has lias boon summoned summon-ed down to Salt Lake City on account ac-count of Bicknoss. Mr. Josoph Miles Is down from Canada visiting with his brothors of our town. Orson and Hiram. Mrs. Hannah Miles has gono to Salt Lako for a week's visit with her sis tors. |
