Show LOGAN'S THEATRICAL TALENT DOES. MOST CREDITABLE WORK Two nights and ono nftornoon matinee, mat-inee, threo performances In nil, to packed houses each time, sums up to a certain degree tho confidence and appreciation of the Logan public in tho Combined Mlnstrol and Rand Shows at tho Lyric this week. It was a buccoss from nearly every point ot view. Financially, it was a monoy gbttor, as a high class entertainment, full of comody and music, there has been nothing at the local show house this season that haB met with such favorable eomment. Every person who took part In any way is deserving deserv-ing of much pralso. It Is said a few members In the show missed their calling. They 'should havo chosen tho tnoatrlcal field as a life's vocation. As a comedian, com-edian, Lowis Edwards never appeared before the local public to better advantage. ad-vantage. It was a scream every tlmo ho oponod his mouth. William Larson, Lar-son, Jack Goldenburg and S. McDonald McDon-ald as end men and with C. W. Han-boh, Han-boh, as Interlocutor, each did his part well nigh onto perfection. Such tnlent as Is found In James MeMurrln, Frank Raugh Jr., Arthur Olson, Karl Farnsworth, Charles O. Peterson, A. Woolloy, L. Ratioy, Alox Preston and J. H. Castloton Is a. credit to any community and each of theso young nion did credit to himself In tho solo work and choruses. chor-uses. Tho orchestra gavo ablo support to tho singers under tho leadership of Guy Aloxander. . Tho playlotto, "Carrots," with Mrs. C. W. Hanson, J. R. Morton, Mabel Johnson and Elnorn Renson In tho cast, gavo thirty minutes ot pleasant entertainment. Mr. Morton nnd Mrs. Hansen taking their parts llko young professionals. Tho climax of tho show camo In tho big musical act, "Ringvllla Band Reception," It was not only tho funniest fun-niest thing In tho wholo show, but considerable talent was exhibltod hero. Tho cast In this act was composed com-posed of Lowls Edwards. G. 13. Aloxander, Alox-ander, H. Farr, Edwin Smith, S. McDonald Mc-Donald and N. W. Chrlstensen. The company will disband without playing any of the nearby towns. |
