Show Ilyrum Happenings. Dr. and Mrs. Cantrl' are islting In Denver. Henry Muiison, has opened up a store by the graveyard. There has been a corns or cill engineers In our community of late, driving stakes and saying nit. James II. Squires has closed out his butcher busmess and he and James C. Jensen have opened up a llrst class saloon. Peter Olscn is canvassing for a book recently published by J. Martin Miller, Mill-er, entitled "Thrilling incidents in the Russian-Japanese War." This fall we will have an election of city otllccrs and tlie people arc already warming up to the situation. From present indications there will be a general shaking up. The Logan Fifth ward choir had a big time In Ilyrum last Sunday. They furnished us some excellent music and the Ilyrum ward choirs treated them to lcc cream and cake. Jno. F. Wright and sons have purchased pur-chased three hundred and eighty-seven acies of land In Rich county. There are several large springs of water on the land. They will put up a large amount of hay there this season. |
