Show A Valuable Patent. W. G. Danielsen Invents Contrivance Contriv-ance that is a Sure Winner. V. G. Danielsen, head of the Danielsen Dan-ielsen Mfg. Co. of this city, has Just occn granted a patent on what is known as a "disc bearing for plows." There Is but one other patentof a similar sim-ilar nature, and a comparison of the two shows Mr. Daniclscn's contrivance as having a great advantage over Die other. This patent lias to do with tho attaching of the discs to the plow. The present method of fastening is unsatisfactory for the reason that it leaves a raised place on tho surface of the disc and In the center, and sometimes some-times permits the disc to become loose. The Danielsen patentattachment Isin a star shape with tho head of the attachment at-tachment sunk Into tho disc. The corrugations make the disc stronger, with a smooth surface and makes it impossible for Is to come loose". Mr. Danielsen is conlldent that he hassecuicd a patent that Is exceedingly exceeding-ly valuable. The man who Invented the method of attachment now In use was granted a patent but six ycais a-go a-go and though pooler than Mr. Danielsen Dan-ielsen is today, ho is now a millionaire. Ho gets a 50 cent royalty on every disc attached by his method. Even to tho casual observer, Mr. Danlelscu's patent has vciv superior advantages over tho other, and ho is certain piat ho will have no difficulty In getting his Idea on tho maiket. Mr. Danielsen Daniel-sen Is an exceedingly piactlcal man, knows plows and their necessities, good and bad points, and we cannot but believe with him that ho has hit upon a splendid thing. Thero Is In Logan now a M.OOO a year traveling man ready to drop his job and accept the agency of this at 25 per cent. Tho gentleman Is a machlno man and is conlldent of tho success of tho contrivance. |
