The grove has been put Into such a condition that it Is really a delightful de-lightful place for such Ktherltis, and hore In tho shadQ there was rendered a piogram of speeches and music, there was eating and drinking, games, races and competitions of various kinds, and finally dancing during the late afternoon and evening. Some Decorations. Over the entrance to the park were draped the German Hag and American bunting and in the large dance hall these same colors wcro draped artistically artisti-cally over the stage. Red ana white crepe paper was festooned overhead, causing the room to take on a gay appearance. ap-pearance. Throughout the spacious grounds were decorated stands from which all the good things to eat and drink were dispensed, and these places did a rushing business .
