Conllsk, member of a prominent family of the Junction City, wero arrested on a charge of being Implicated Im-plicated directly In tho fraud. Mr. Conllsk has been employed as hsslstant ticket seller nt tho Union do-pot, do-pot, but slnco last April has made affidavits af-fidavits In support of claims to the extent ex-tent of $2,308.50. Tho form of nllldavlt filled out by him and by all othors collecting col-lecting bounty money requires that they mako oath to having killed tho animals themselves and within tho past sixty days. According to tho bounties paid out, tho slaughter of wild animals In Weber We-ber county was phenomenal during tho past fow months. During tho entlro year of 1901, $12,94C was paid In boun-ties boun-ties for coyotes, wildcats, wolves, mountain lions and benrs supposed to havo been killed In that part of tho state. Tho coyoto Is tho popular wild animal among the hunters of Weber county, ns well ns In Salt Lake county. During tho yenr 5,770 coyotes wero mndo to bite the dust. In nddltion to these, 40C wolves wcro slnugbtercd, 390 wildcats, 108 mountain lions nnd only 45 benrs. According Ac-cording to bounties paid Edward King killed 1,085 ceiyotcs. 311 wildcats. 190 wolves, 121 mountain lions, 41 bears, during tho past hunting season, whllo Kdwnrd Cooko slow 903 coyotes, 107 wlldcnts, 91 wolves, 73 mountain lions, and 12 bear. James Gorman collected bounty on 812 coyotes, 100 wildcats, 50 wolves, 42 mountain lions nnd 15 benr, whllo George King succeeded In bagging bag-ging only G22 coyotes, 104 wildcats, 05 wolves, 5 mountain lions nnd 3 boars.
