Show A Robbery at McCammon Turns Out To Be the Best Joke of the Season. Robbers Got $600. Itlchard Cotton, a well-known gentleman gen-tleman of Southern Idaho, was la Logan Wednesday and In convulsing of things past and present told a story I of a most amusing hold-up that occur-! occur-! red at McCammon last July, Mr. Cotton Cot-ton himself being one of the victims. As the story goes, he and fifteen other men were In ttie Ilarkncss saloon sa-loon at midnight just as tlio saloon was being closed. While llgurlng up with the cash register open, two men with drawn revolvers walked In and ordered eveiybody to throw up their hands. There was a most ready response re-sponse and the group was faced to the wall, w Itli arms extended. One of tlio robbers kept them covered while tho other went through their pockets. The man on guard exclaimed to the other "take plenty of time, you hae all night for tho Job. Take every damned cent they have." Watches and finger rings were taken, with up-wards up-wards of $400 In cash. |
