Mr. Kllgore was born in Virginia in 1821 and came to Utah about sixteen years ago. Like most of Virginians, ho was a broad minded, affable gentleman. gentle-man. The people of Logan were shocked to 1 earn of the death of C. E. Thorsten-scn Thorsten-scn at Ogdcn on Tuesday night. Ho retired re-tired to his bed on that evening feeling feel-ing unusually well. In tho morning he was found dead. Up to tho present, the cause of his death is unknown. An inquest will be held on tho remains. re-mains. Tho deceased was uboub 42 years of age, was manager of tho U. O. Mercantile establishment of tills city for some time, subsequently has held positions of trust in Salt'. Lake and Ogdcn. Willie in this city, Mr. Thorstenscn was a representative man, rcllgously as well as in business affairs, and was noted for ids congeniality congeni-ality and sociability.
