Robinson, of the Second Waul, is the latest victim at the Sugar Factory, and is now In a lather seiious condition as the result of se-vcic se-vcic scalds and bruises received Sunday Sun-day evening. ' Robinson has been a fiieman at tho Factory for some time and was en-gaged en-gaged at his woik when the walls of the engine loom caved in on him, buiylng him waist deep in the debris. Steam pipes were biokcu and befoie Robinson could be cxtilcalcd the steam and watci hadseveiely scalded him. He was taken out in a vciy bad condition, but after competent sui-gical sui-gical attention had been administcied thcie Is icasou to believe that he will come thiough the ouleal successfully. The accident was due to an ovci-picssuic ovci-picssuic of coal on the outside of tho engine room. The factory coal has usually been stored against these walls and on Saturday an extra 100 tons had been added. This too much and resulted In the unfortunate accident. |
