Show Hyde Park The Primary Young Ladles' Association Asso-ciation and Relief Society held a fair on the 28th and 2utli. It was a great success and crowds of people enjoyed themselves inspecting the work of the Societies. The Relief Society piescntcd a good display of needle work, also oddities which added much to the beauty of their stands. The woik of tho young ladles is always good. Their ncatnc3s and choice of articles and material are to be commended. com-mended. The Primary Is the smaller in statute but not in number, nor were thoy lacking In their display of articles. More of a mixture Is found among their resources: Carpenter work, needle work, cakes, pics, fruits, vegetables and many other Interesting Interest-ing articles were to be seen. Many things were woitliy of mention but space permits us to mention but few. A turnip grown by Mr. Grant weighed nine pounds and measured two and one-half feet in circumference; also Mr. Giant's pumpkin weighed (10 lbs. Mr. Jensen's potatoes weighed two and one-half pounds. W. J. Kleld-sen's Kleld-sen's c.triot weighed two and one-half one-half pounds. Those in whose charge the Fair was held are to be congiatu-latcd congiatu-latcd on tlio success they made of the occasion. Many an hour Is lost waiting for bcetcais. Tho beet crop Is excellent this season sea-son and will bring thousands of dollars dol-lars to the Park. The estimate of beets tindug in Hyde Park Is placed at "00 tons.
