Show Hyde Park Hydo Park, March 30. Tho funeral of thd llttlo daughter ot Mr. nnd Mrs. J. W. Perkes, wns held from the meeting house Friday, Mnrch 29. at 1 p.m. Tho speakers wero H. W. Hancey. Gcorgo F. Ashcroft, Charles II. Ashcroft, Gcorgo 55. Lamb, Lorenzo Loren-zo I'ctcrson, nnd Illshop Charles G. Hydo. Many words of consolation wero offered tho bereaved parents nnd relatives by tho speakers, and appropriate hymns wero sung by the choir. Misses Gertrude Scamons nnd Uma Clirlstenson sang very beautifully beauti-fully "Wo Lny Theo Gontly Down to Sleep." Tho opening and closing prayers pray-ers wcro offered by Elders Iloscl 11. Hyde, nnd Wllllnm A. Seamons. Tho ball bearers wcro four llttlo girls dressed In white, and six othors preceded pre-ceded tho casket from tho residence to tho hearse, nnd to and from tho hall. Tho grave was dedicated by Reuben A. Perkes. Hero Is nn event thnt does not hnppen in tho lives ot many of us. Thursday, March 20th, wns tho 22nd anniversary ot tho marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Simpson 11. Thurston. It was also Mr. Thurston's 42nd birthday, birth-day, and to make tho day still moro Important to all concerned Mrs. Thurston Thur-ston presented her husband with a flno baby girl. If we wero rightly informed, in-formed, Pearl, their first born daughter daugh-ter was also born upon their wedding day. Mr. and Mrs. Thurston aro now blessed with ten children; flvo sons nnd flvo daughters, of which they are Justly proud.
