"The' Llttlo Organist" by Edison with Bessie Learn In tho leading role told a tender little lovo story In Edison's Edi-son's best stylo; "A Boarding House Itomanco" by Lubln, good farce; "Making Hay" showing the old way and tho new, was Interesting; "A Compromise" a good slap-stick bur- lesque on tho servant problem; "Tho Loafer" was a good stirring western pF drama, the kind Essanay is noted for; "A Timely Rcscuo" by tho Vltlgra?h company featuring Hnrry T. Morey, In a strong role was a good llfo por , trayal, and showed somo realistic battle scenes. "His Secretarv" v Edison was a most delightful iltuc comedy and well played by Laura Sawyer and Charles Oaglo; "Tho Broken Spur" was rather a wasto of film, being too much on tho Diamond Dick stylo; "Walk, You, Walk" with P.uth Roland and a bunch of bieezy western Kalamltes was a rollicking rol-licking good farce. Tho Current Event slides were 'good. |
