Show ONE THOUSAND PEOPLE ATTEND THE CACHE COUNTY HORSE SALE Regardless of tho inclomency of tho weather tho first day of thp-great thp-great Cacho County Horse Srtfo which began in this city yesterday morning went off with a boom, and such porfect satisfaction prevailed in all transactions that no doubt now remains that tho snlo will be made an annual event ln tho valley. Farmers and horsemen from all parts of tho valloy woro there with their animals and ready market was avaltublo for practically every horso handled by Auctioneer C. A. Smith. A slight disappointment was folt by some of tho buyers on account of so few drnft horses being entered, but It Is expected that today's listlngi will satisfy the desires of all. Ilund- eds of animals were entered for salo somo of which will bo placed up today. The crowd too, will bo bigger today as people on tho outsldo, It appears, (era somewhat skeptical, and have held back awaiting a report of tho first day's work. , So to all it might now be said: tho affair has proved a grand success. It is much better than was expected even by tho promoters. Over one thousand were In attendance attend-ance yesterday and many tlmos that number will participate ln today's proceedings. Sale will begin this morning at 10 o'clock sharp, and with the exception of a noon recess, will continue until all animals havo been disposed of. |
