Show W. S. A. TOO FAST FOR CRIMSONS In Its second game of tho league series the U. Y. College basketball team went down to defeat before the Weber Stake Academy team on tho hitter's floor In Ogden last Friday evening. Tho game was a good ono. throughout. Excellent team work was done on both sides, but owing to tho slick floor tho Weber boys had considerable the advantage. Tho first hnf was Ogden's by a score of 23 to 13, and in the final half the Crimsons Wore unable to overcome the lead, the final score being 40 to 37. Whllo al tho boys nre worthy of pralso for their good work, tho particular par-ticular stars at the baskets for Weber We-ber wcro Dclnup -and Ingles, and for tho B. 'Y. Tho trip was made by special train, which left here at 4 o'clock in the afternoon and on Its return to Logan arrived at 2:30 o'clock Saturday morning. Next Friday evening tho D. Y. tenm will play the Brlgham High School at Logan. |
