Of all the' enjoyable times wo have had lu (Irccuvllle It Is no exaggeration to say that the social gathering held In tho meeting house last Wednesday and Thursday lu honor of tho retiring blshoprlu far surpasses any of them. It was decided that nil those over 1-1 years Inclusive, should meet on Wednesday and all under thnt age n Thursday. Wednesday at 10 a. m., nil gathered gather-ed at the meeting houso and there feasted on music nnd song, chicken nnd pie, until both henrt nnd stomach were filled. At 10:30 the following programme was rendered. Singing, "Wc Thank Thco O God for n Prophet." Prayer by John Daniels. Singing, "Praise to the Mnn." Ill-other Christian I.nrscn made tho address of welcome nnd in words that touched deeply the hearts of old and young, bade all havo a joy. ous time in partaking of tho pleasures pleas-ures prepared. Nelson enter tallied all tho officers and teachers teach-ers of tlio primary association. Saturday evening baby boys arrived arriv-ed at tho homos of Mr. Kdwnrd Pul mcr's nnd Gotfrled Welroman's. Tho littlo Welremnn baby only lived 20 minutes. It was burled from tho Welremnn home on Sunday. Mr. Carl M. Nelsen and Mr. Wlllard Nyman are spending tho week In Idaho. Mrs. John II. Kemp and children Bpent Sunday at her old homo In I.ewlston. Mrs. Carl Nyman linn been spending spend-ing tlio week nt Hydo Park with her daughter, Mrs. Moso Jensen. |
