Show HYDE PARK ITEMS Hyde Park, Oct. 8. On Wednesday, Wednes-day, October 2, Mr. Fred Duce, and Miss Mabel Balls, also Mr. Georgo F. Asbcroft, Jr., and Miss Phebe Thurston, Thurs-ton, were united In mnrrlago In the Salt Lake Temple. Mr. Duco is a son of Thomas and Eliza Duce, and Mr. George ABhcroft Is a son of Gcorgo F. and Sarah Asbcroft. The brides are tho daughters of William, and Mary E. flails, and Stephen and Eliza M. Thurston. The grooms and brides nro young peoplo of good characters char-acters and aro qulto popular among the young folks. They start Ufa under un-der very favorable conditions, and a host of friends wish them n bon voyage down tho stream of life. Tho storm of last week put a stop to beet digging for a fow days. The beet crop is not as good as usual owing to the damngo done by tho hnll In August. Conference visitors are returning homo nnd report an enjoyable time. Several of our young men who went to Nevada last spring will return to Hydo Park to spend tho winter. Mr. Henry W. Asbcroft who was soveroly injured a fow weeks ago, by falling from a load of hay, Is now slowly Improving. Jesso S and Evan Hnncey aro also considerably Improved. Many of our fnnnors will havo to buy liny this year, as their third crop was ruined by tho hnll. |
