Show A Farewell Party. The attractlNc home of Mr and Mrs. A. E Thompson on West Center was well tilled last Monday evening wlili the members of the Woman's club with their' husbands and guests who had assembled to show their regret re-gret at the departure of Prof, and Mrs. Bexell, who are soon to leave for Oregon. After Miss Smith had expressed the feelings of all In losing such good friends as the Bexclls, a musical program pro-gram was given, consisting of two piano solos by Miss Mamie Drown, a group of songs by Geo. W. Thatcher, a violin solo by Mr. Splcker, a group of Swedish songs by Prof, and Mrs Bexell and then a guessing game was plaed. Refreshments were served and thus a raostcnJoyable evening came to an end. Besides the club husbands the guests were Miss Cassldy, Horace Ncbeker, Dr. Clark, Prof. Larsen, Prof. Arnold, Mr. and Mrs. Shepherd and Mrs. N. It. Moore. I |
