Show Theru Is much In the winter courso to be given at the Agricultural college, col-lege, commencing January 5 and extending ex-tending over a porlod of fifteen weeks, tocommnnd Itself to the farmers of this county and state. Coming as It docs in the heart of winter when the work cf the farmer is moro or lest in a dormant condition every agriculturist would do well to spend a fewweelu and become aciualnted with the advanced and modern methods which ire constantly being employed to make a more successful suc-cessful husbandman. The college offers of-fers many subjects in this course, each subject covering a period of from two to several weeks duration. For practical prac-tical farmers, stock raisers, fruit grow ers, dairymen and poultrymen the college col-lege will cond'uet a state farmers round-up, a two weeks course in farm problems. The first week, January 1) to 16, will bo devoted to live stock followed fol-lowed the second week by discussions on fruit raising and farm crops. The permanent faculty has been materially strengthened for the conducting of the winter course by the employment of Dean Carlyle and Professor Olln of Colorado and leading experts of this state. There Is but little doubt that every thrifty farmer of the county will avail himself of this great advantage and select at least one of the many excellent courses offered by the Institution. |
