Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sorensen arc moving into the residence of Mrs. Helen Walker. They -will make their home in Mendon'for the present. - . Mr. and 'Mrs. Farris Jones and Miss Annie Baker, of Bingham Canyon, are spending a few days with their parcnts,sMr. and Mrs. Joseph Baker. George Hughes, Artie Richards, Mary Wood, Mathew Bird and John Buist went to Salt Lake on the Odd Fellows excursion. Mrs. Mathew Forster, of Silt Lake, is visiting with her Sister, Mrs. Maria Richards. Wm.I. Sorensen has made a big improvement to his residence. J. T. Reese was over from Benson Ben-son ward Tuesday. A new orchestra is being organized, or-ganized, in town. Beet thinning is nearly over. LEWISTON, June 19. Sunday, Sun-day, June 16th, -at the meeting in Lewiston Second ward, bishops counselors, were chosen. Brother James Anderson was chosen first, nnd brother Henry Kent second. Eliza Champion has just returned re-turned home , from Trenton, where shehas been J or two weeks past nursing Mrs. Joseph Rawlins. Raw-lins. She reports Mrs. Rawlins' baby born ou the 3rd as an exceptionally ex-ceptionally fine ten pound boy. Mrs. Eda Lewis went to Logan on Wednesday, the 19th, to' attend at-tend the wedding of 'her nejee, Miss Nettie Ardeen. She was accompanied ac-companied by a number of the other members of the family." Joseph Owens is building a new house a little west of the meeting house. It is now nearing completion and we all feel like congratulating him on the pleasing pleas-ing fact. ' 'John Tellford and family have moved into their new house, lately late-ly purchased from J. P. Jones. Sister Telford is still in very poor health. Harry Rawlins is tearing down his barn to make way for the new street to be built into town from the sugar factory district. |
