Show Hyde Parkers Young People Get Married There. HYDE PARK, June 26. The social event of the week was the marriages today in the Temple of Wilford Seamons, of tin's place, and Miss Ellie Patton, of Preston, Idaho, and Joseph Johnson and Miss Marie Laurson, both of Hyde Park. A reception was given this afternoon at the residence resi-dence of Ezra Seamons, where a bounteous wedding supper was enjoyed by relatives of the bride and groom. A hdst of friends join in wishing these worthy con-pies con-pies a happy journey down tho stream of time together. The young men who went up Blacksmith Fork canyon n few weeks ago, came home yesterday. Tho bad weather has prevented them from making very big wages. At our Sunday afternoon services ser-vices the following named persons per-sons occupied the pulpit and proclaimed the principles of the gospel to the people: Mrs. Julia Blair, Mrs. Knowles, Mrs. J. 55. Stewart, Mr. J. Z. Stewart, and Charles England. Mr. England visited the Sunday school, and was woll pleased with the condition condi-tion of the school. He commended commend-ed the school for the largo and interesting parents' class. Brothers Broth-ers E. W. Smith and Alma Hale j held, a meeting with the High Priests. David Grant was appointed Street supervisor a few days ago, and he has had a force of men and teams out the last few days fixing up the street crossings. Dave is a rustler, and we hope he will use sonic of the Towu's money now lying idle in the bank to better the condition of our street crossings. ' Hyde Park will not celebrate Indcpendelice day this year. Lars C. Petersen is putting in ( a foundation for an additional room to his house. There was a dnnee last Friday night in the hall, and it was j fairly well attended, considering , the time of tho eyar. ( |
