Show Newton Musings. Celebration of 24th in Fine Style. A Building Epidemic. NEWTON, July 20, 10041. Last Sunday Sun-day we were visited by our Stake Presidency Pre-sidency (Henson Stake) and others who gave us very good and timely Instructions In-structions Tho 24th was duly celebrated nerc, a line piogram was rendered, a dance for the children, sports, and all k"lnds of amusements. In the afternoon a very Interesting baseball game was plajed between the Richmond ana Newton trams which ended with a score of 13 to 14 in favor of Newton. Now ton has some good players when in training. Heading will commence within a week or sc The farmers are Jubilant over the coming harvest. Heck & Son. the painters are doing conslderally well this season, a great many are having their houses painted, whlclMiiakci a. lino appearance. Many new houses are being built and plans and spccilicatlons arc out for others. Mr. David Clark's residence resid-ence Is nearly ready for plastering, this being built In the center of the block, shows up well |
